SAPA EASY TREKKING BY EXPRESS BUS 2 DAYS
This is a wonderful short trek through Sapa’s incredible scenery, to discover the unique lifestyle and wonderful hospitality of the local ethnic people. What better way to experience, up close, how these delightful people exist and live a life that is little changed in centuries, than to stay in their homes.
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van villages
Activities:
At about 6h30am,We will come to pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi old quarter and transfer to Express bus office which depart at 7h00am for Sapa.
At about 9h30am: Follow the new Highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break
11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa
13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will leave to begin the trek into the mountains. The early part is along a road, but the terrain soon changes to a delightful track alongside the Muong Hoa River.This is the Y Ling Valley and leads to the Black H’Mong village of Lao Chai. The Black H’Mong are the largest ethnic group in the Sapa region and are recognisable by their distinctive indigo blue traditional dress.Moving on from here we trek a further short distance to visit the smaller community of Giay ethnic people in Ta Van Village.
There are only 38,000 of these people in total and they mainly live high in the mountains. Whilst some old customs have disappeared the women still dress in the traditional costumes of purple, blue or green skirts. Their house are built of wood and bamboo with clay floors, it is here that we will enjoy dinner and our overnight stay. Approx: 8 km of trekking, Over 320 km of driving from Hanoi to Sapa

With ‘Homestay’ experience, your overnight accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house-on-silts. There are some private rooms on the first floor for priavte tour and you will have toilet or bathroom sharing. The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at standard and a few steps from the main house.

Day 2: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Su pan – Sapa- Hanoi
Activities:
After breakfast we leave the village and walk to Giang Ta Chai, passing a delightful waterfall and a old style hanging bridge; here you will meet some of the famous Red Dao ethnic tribe. Their traditional black and red costumes are decorated with silver coins. They also wear distinctive red head scarves and many remove their eyebrows. Walking through the rice fields we cross over the Muong Hoa River and trek to the village of Su Pan. Here you will be collected by jeep and transferred back to Sapa.
After a late lunch, free to explore the town in the afternoon until about 15h30, we will get on Express bus to return to Hanoi depart at about 15h45 and will arrive bus office (12 Ly Thai To street) in Hanoi at about 21h30.
