DAY 1. ARRIVE IN HANOI

Activities:

Upon arrival, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to downtown with a brief introduction en route.

Your guide will be holding a welcome signboard with the VIET HERITAGE TRAVEL LOGO & your name. During the drive your guide will provide an introduction to Ho Chi Minh City

 DAY 2. HANOI CITY TOUR FULL DAY

Activities:

The capital of Vietnam, a city that celebrated 1.000 years in 2010 has countless fascinating cultural and historic sites and our days’ tour will visit the highlights.

See the grand and solemn mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Oct-Nov), the ‘icon of Hanoi’ – The One Pillar Pagoda, the beautiful Temple of Literature, West Lake’s Tran Quoc temple and Quan Thanh pagoda as well as the fascinating Ethnology Museum, the bustling Old Quarter and at the end of the day – a water puppet performance.

DAY 3. HANOI – HA LONG BAY

Activities:

We’ll pick you up in Hanoi by 8:00am and drive through the verdant Red River Delta to make our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. You’ll board a luxury junk ship for an overnight cruise– while you relax on-board you can marvel at the incredible limestone karsts that jut out of the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands that seem to float on the waves. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Tonkin swirl around hidden grottoes and ancient caves to create an enchanting, timeless world.

We’ll serve you a fresh seafood lunch while you sit back and relax as you enjoy the incredible view with a drink in your hand. We’ll take you to a traditional fishing village where the locals have created an entire town on the decks of their boats, then you can explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for cocktails, canapés, and a spectacular sunset. End your day with a romantic, candlelit dinner.

DAY 4. HA LONG BAY – HA NOI – HUE

Activities:

Awaken on board to the magnificent vista of Halong Bay in the morning. Begin the day with a Tai Chi class on deck in the early morning mist or just admire the beautiful scenery as the sun rises over the azure waters. The boat moves on its way as you decide when its time to actually arise.

As you make your way back to Halong City you partake in a leisurely brunch that is provided on board. Jump onto dry land and hop into the vehicle with you guide for a relaxing ride back through the rural countryside and into Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi, take a daily use room for relaxing and quick shower.

20:00: the guide pick you up and transfer you to railway station for a night train to Hue

DAY 5. HUE TOUR

Activities:

Early in the morning, arrive in Hue, the guide will pick you up and bring you for having breakfast, then you’ll begin your day in Hue with a visit to the ruins of the Imperial Citadel, the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945.

Then take a bicycle trip through the Old City to Tinh Tam Lake, the ancient gardens of the emperors. In the afternoon you can head to the Mu Pagoda, overlooking the emerald Perfume River. Your last stop will be to explore Khai Dinh’s Tomb, a traditional Vietnamese temple with a European touch, making it a particularly unique tomb among the ancestral ruins of ancient Hue. DAY 6. HUE – DA NANG – NOI AN

Activities:

Breakfast at your hotel. Pick you up and transfer to Hoian. You can stop to visit Lang Co Beach. Drive through the Pass of Ocean Clouds for a stunning panoramic view of the mountains and sea. Arrive in Hoi An, check in and free time.

DAY 7. HOI AN – TRA QUE VILLAGE

Activities:

8:00 am: local guide will see you at your hotel with your bicycle. you will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from thelocal lake. following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other gardening activities. after all these activities, you will take a short rest and enjoy foot bath before getting to preparing lunch with a local family.

Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancake of people in vietnam middle region. you can join the cooking with the chef on these meals. After your morning excurtions and your lunch, you will take a vietnamese traditional post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables. Around 13.00: bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An.

Then you will take the time for visiting Hoian Old Quarte, a walking tour of Hoi An’s ancient town centre will take you back in time to when its was a major trading port in Asia. Visit old shophouses, the 400 year-old Japanese Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colorful market in this well-preserved town. Then free time for relaxing on An Bang Beach.

DAY 8. HOI AN TOUR – HO CHI MINH CITY.

Activities: 

Breakfast at your hotel and a walking tour of Hoi An’s ancient town centre will take you back in time to when its was a major trading port in Asia. Visit old shophouses, the 400 year-old Japanese Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colorful market in this well-preserved town.

Then free time for relaxing on Cua Dai Beach until pick you up and transfer you to airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Free time.

DAY 9. HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR – CU CHI TUNNELS.

Activities:

We’ll pick you up in the morning and take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major part of the Vietnam-American War and a fascinating day trip– explore the mysterious tunnels, find hidden doors and once-deadly traps.

After lunch we’ll go back to HCMC and spend the afternoon either visiting the War Remnants Museum or the Reunification Palace Palace, whichever you prefer. Then stroll around the city’s colonial streets in the evening to the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.

DAY 10. HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – BEN TRE

Activities:

Breakfast at your hotel. The guide pick you up and transfer you to Ben Tre.  Arrive at Ham Luong dock, you will take a boat and then cruise along Ham Luong River, a tributary to the Mekong River. The cool breeze from the river and lush tropical islands along its banks will immediately get you excited to explore all the great things ahead.

Arrive and visit various local workplaces to find many wonderful examples of how local people use ageless techniques to create their crafts, including activated charcoal, dried coconut, handy coconut husk brooms, and many family businesses using coir, or coconut fiber, to create amazing art. Cruise around the village roads by “Xe Lôi”, the local vehicle, which is a kind of motorized rickshaw. Kayak through the natural canals to get a unique experience of the peaceful beauty of the Mekong River as well as the rural life there. Having lunch at a local host house. After lunch, you will have some time for relaxing before take a car back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 11. DEPARTURE FROM HO CHI MINH CITY.
