Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai Railways Station

Activities:

20.30pm – Viet Heritage Travel’s tour guide come to pick you up from your hotel then transfer to Ha Noi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning). Arrive Lao Cai 5:30 or 6:00am.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Suoi Ho – Giang Cha – Saxeng villages

Activities:

The train arrives at around 6:00 am. Look for the “Viet Heritage Travel’s Logo & Your Name” sign when you exit the train station, as our guide will pick you up there and transfer to the former hill station of Sapa. After having breakfast at local restaurant, a short rest and some last preparations before our Sapa trip.

Real Authentic Rice Terrace Tour in Sapa brings you to an authentic place and non – touristy( faraway touristy places ). Trek down to pine tree forest and to Suoi Ho village of Hmong ethnic people, the village is located in small valley and rice terrace fields.

Have a look a tradtional wooden house to explore their mystery culture and then crossing beautiful scenery of rice paddy fields. Keep trekking to Giang Cha village with a panorama of small beautiful valley. Lunch in local house and then walking down to corn fields with black limestone fields, You have chance to visit one of the most beautiful rice terrace in Vietnam, discovery Dzao ethnic people in Ta Phin valley.

In addition you also feel the peaceful countryside of the northern mountains friendly farmers and enthusiasm to work hard on their fields. Overnight in red Dzao homestay and possible take a herbal bath – Pay by yourself ( It is a traditional herbal bath by medicinal plants in jungle it makes the good health and very good after a day trekking) you will sleep well and easy for treking in next day.

With ‘Homestay’ experience, your overnight accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house-on-silts. There are some private rooms on the first floor for priavte tour and you will have toilet or bathroom sharing.
The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow and mosquito net. The restroom is at standard and a few steps from the main house.

Day 3: Saxeng villages -Hau Chu Ngai village -Sapa – Night train to Hanoi

Activities:

Following a breakfast with local people and then heading toward Sa Pa village. You will pass through several minority villages along the way. The nice walk through the rain forest and rice paddy terraces before reaching a small highland, enjoy breathtaking views over the fantastic valleys. Stop by Hau Chu Ngai village of Black Hmong, where your lunch will be served. After lunch, you take a walk under the shadow of bamboo forest as well as a short walk from side to side of the Muong Hoa valley, passing a nice waterfall before heading back to Sapa.The rest of day free time for exploring local market and Sapa twon. Late afternoon, the car will pick you up for the night train back to Hanoi. Arrive at Lao Cai train station and take the night train back to Hanoi.
Approx: 14 km of trekking, Durationabout 5h walking and Over 30 km of driving back to Lao Cai .
